More mistakes, lessons from caffeinated fudge, and improvements on the way!

Sweet Potato Truffles

I’m so sorry about the past few days. If you visited this past week and it looked like the blog disappeared – I apologize profoundly. I took the plunge, tried to do some self-hosted technical business, and managed to create a few roadblocks for myself. I slogged through it, stuck it out, and it wasn’t as horrible as I once would have thought.

The point is, I wanted to jump in and stop being scared of all kinds of technical things I didn’t understand. It is totally ok to jump in – just maybe not feet first, and know how deep the water is! Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Well I did jump in; I made some mistakes, and I learned from them. It’s never as bad as you think, and it’s never as hard as we make it out to be. There is always a solution – we just need to remain calm and focus on the positive so we can see the path unfold. I just feel bad thinking of all of you poor folks prevented from accessing some sweet potato goodness!

I’m going to post this PHENOMENAL sweet potato truffle recipe tomorrow. Already this post is long and all over the place, and the screen is starting to blur as I type. In my great jumping in excitement, I failed to notice that the batch of Uncool Fudge I was consuming – at 7pm – had 2 teaspoons of matcha powder in it. I don’t do well with caffeine, and I was up til 4. At least it gave me prime time to contact three different customer supports and brainstorm ways to get the blog back up again, if not getting more than a few hours rest. However, it did get me excited for the re-launch of this blog in a few weeks. Better design, exclusive content for followers, and more healthy inspiration is on the way! First: sleep. Second: work . Third: posting sweet potato truffles’ recipe.  In the meantime – what do you want to see from the new & improved Eat, Recycle, Repeat? Let me know in the comments!

Kate. Matcha = green tea = caffeine. Honestly. At least it was delicious.

Thanks again for your patience, support, and engagement with this site. You all truly make the sun shine in my world.
