Introducing the Whole Foods Heroes Interview Series!

Happy Sunday everyone. I am oh so pleased to debut the first video of an ongoing interview series. And it is very fitting that our first guest is the rocking lady who inspired me to make videos in the first place! If you don’t know Lillian already, head over to her site Lillian’s Test Kitchen and check out the amazing gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and refined-sugar free recipe videos she has on her site! In addition to her humourous and entertaining videos, Lillian also has some excellent projects and series: her own interviews with the Food Warrior series, the excellent & essential Food Allergy Survival Series, and the latest project on daily GratiTUDE. It’s all genius!

This is my first interview, so I wasn’t as eloquent as I would have liked. But you’ll never get better if you don’t try! We chatted about all sorts of topics, but here is the rundown for the first part of the interview:

[0:00] Kate makes a rookie mistake

[2:37] Experimenting in the kitchen

[3:15] Adapting recipes to your taste

[4:15] Getting comfortable in the kitchen

[4:55] Keeping a sense of humor

[7:19] Being prepared

[7:53] The idea of “being a burden”

[8:32] Taking ownership and not being a victim

[9:36] End of Part 1!
