Green Tip #17: Put on a Sweater

Throughout most of Japan, houses do not have central air conditioning or central heat. The same goes for schools. While this isn’t always the MOST comfortable, I’ve learned that we can tolerate a lot more than we think. Actually, the idea of convenience is SO prevalent in our culture, most of the time we don’t even think about what we do or don’t need.

So next time you go running for thermometer – first put on a sweater and see how that works for you.

I’m actually a little sad that it is warming up again, my kitchen was like a second refrigerator. I could store so many things without them spoiling! \(>o<)/ (I’m testing Japanese smiley faces)
